RG65
There are a limited number of RG65’s in the club but as a result of this being a development class for 65 cm long radio controlled yachts, which means that anything not mentioned in the rules is allowed! Makes these yachts far more competitive than there one class sister the DF 65
The simple rules are designed to encourage people to try new ideas at a modest cost.
Plus points for the class are:
- Light weight around 1kg.
- Compact enough to fit in a small car fully rigged.
- No need for special heavy duty sail servos.
DragonForce
The Dragon Force 65 is a one design class aimed at the newcomer to the sport of radio sailing, the Dragon Force is a readily available and cheap kit boat. It also rates as an RG65 but its one design element creates a class where the skippers abilities can shine through.
